League of Women Voters is a highly respected citizens’ organization that researches issues from many points of view and takes action on issues affecting our families and communities. Our members are men and women who want to make a difference. The League is nonpartisan; we do not support or oppose candidates.

Membership is open to all citizens of voting age – women and men – young and old Every national League position are based on nationwide study and consensus among members. In the consensus process, members draw on balanced pro/con materials. Once a position is reached, the League marshals all of its tools to influence the shape of public policy.
